Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
is the soundtrack to 2013 Disney animated film, Frozen. The film was produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, and featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana, the film tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged, thrill-seeking mountain man, his loyal pet reindeer, and a hapless snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

  • Bell, who provided both the speaking and singing voices of Princess Anna in the , performed "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" at a February concert celebrating the film's music (the footage of which has been slowly popping up online recently), and took on Anna at all three ages that the song spans. The tune, which is sung by Anna as a young girl, a preteen, and a young woman, is both lighthearted and poignant, and Bell hit each emotion perfectly, as she also deftly imitated the high-pitched, childlike elements of the voices of the two actresses who sang the song in the film (Agatha Lee Monn and Katie Lopez).

The movie “Frozen” is always a topic of conversation in our home and we love the song “Do you want to build a snowman?”. I was trying to think of a fun kids craft about building snowmen with marshmallows and came up with this idea!

And Do You Want to Build a Snowman? is about how lonely Anna (Voice of Kristen Bell) is and how she wants to spend time and play with her sister, Elsa. It shows her at different ages throughout the song. Just before the last verse of the song, her parents went off on a ship and you can see it capsize, their parents died, so the last verse is sadder.

2. Do You Want to Build a Snowman? - Frozen (OST)

5-Year-Old Anna: Elsa?
Do you want to build a snowman?
Come on, let's go and play!
I never see you anymore
Come out the door
It's like you've gone away!

We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why!

Do you want to build a snowman?
It doesn't have to be a snowman...
8-Year-Old Elsa: Go away, Anna.
5-Year-Old Anna: Okay, bye.

8-Year-Old Elsa:

King: The gloves will help. See? Conceal it.
8-Year-Old Elsa: Don't feel it.
Both: Don't let it show.

9-Year-Old Anna:
Do you want to build a snowman?
Or ride our bike around the halls?
I think some company is overdue,
I've started talking to the pictures on the walls!
(Hang in there, .)

It gets a little lonely,
All these empty rooms,
Just watching the hours tick by...

12-Year-Old Elsa: I'm scared! It's getting stronger!
King: Getting upset only makes it worse. Calm down.
12-Year-Old Elsa: No! Don't touch me! Please, I don't want to hurt you.

15-Year-Old Anna: See you in two weeks.

18-Year-Old Elsa: Do you to go?
King: You'll be fine, Elsa.

15-Year-Old Anna: Elsa?
Please, I know you're in there
People are asking where you've been
They say, "have courage" and I'm trying to
I'm right out here for you,
Just let me in

We only have each other,
It's just you and me
What are we gonna do?

Do you want to build a snowman?
