However, starting October 4, 2013, the company reduced the wholesale price of the system to retailers. Coinciding with the system's price cut, Nintendo released a limited edition Wii U Deluxe Set bundle. The bundle included a black Wii U console with 32 GB of storage, a black Wii U GamePad decorated with a golden and other thematic symbols, a download code for the game and, in North America, a digital copy of , a collector's book about series. In Europe, Nintendo also released a limited edition Wii U Premium Pack bundle. Both European bundles featured a 7-day trial of the service. Nintendo did not cut the price of the Wii U in Australia or New Zealand nor did it release any of the previous bundles in the regions.
