I was a little bit unfair toward the LEGO Mixels series when I initially saw the sets, so I wanted to make sure to rectify the situation when LEGO Mixels Series 2 hit stores this month. Earlier this week , and today I’m going to touch on the figure that looked the second most-appealing to me in the series. And then I saw Jawg. And while I didn’t fall in love with him in the way that I did with the Blue Frosticons’ Flurr, I definitely knew that he was going to be the second figure from this set that I was going to have to purchase and build.

Jawg's name is a play on the words "jaw" and "dog".

Jawg is the epitome of a watchdog: loving to his friends, a menace to anyone who endangers them. Despite not having a heavy vocabulary, usually saying a few words at a time as well as panting, barking, and laughing, Jawg is still a smart, if not animalistic Mixel. However, he does anger pretty easily, and is not above getting revenge when he feels wronged.
